Measuring stick: Justin Timberlake's worldwide smash FutureSex/LoveSounds sold 684k in its first week. A 700k unit debut would be absolutely massive, and would only solidify the argument that TV is the REAL music business driver these days.
My opinion: HSM will be lucky to reach 680k. It's all about the TV this weekend. Stay tuned.

so i said that...i take it back.
what i meant to say is "god i wish nobody bought CDs anymore." parents should be charged with attempted first-degree cultural homocide for allowing their kids to itra-auditorily inject this into their still malleable cerebral structures via little white ear buds.
